The Formech 2440 sets a new standard in easy-to-use, large-format vacuum forming. Engineered for demanding industrial applications, it accommodates sheet sizes up to 2440 x 1220mm while maximizing efficiency and output. Featuring energy-efficient quartz heaters with 48 control zones and four high-output cooling fans, the 2440 delivers precise heat distribution and rapid cycle times for maximum hands-on productivity.

This intuitive user interface makes the 2440 highly approachable for operators of all skill levels. Machine cycle status is clearly visible at a glance and all parameters can be adjusted in real time without interrupting the current cycle. Nameable memory pre-sets enable convenient recall of settings for each application.

Two 200 litre vacuum tanks enable instantaneous vacuum with excellent definition for the most demanding applications.

Process Automation

Electric heater drive, with pneumatic table and pneumatically-assisted clamping, make light work of large applications and greatly assist the operator.

  Quartz heaters have the benefit of a rapid response and high efficiency resulting in time and energy savings.

  After the formed part has cooled, air is forced between the mould and the sheet to help it release.
