The Roland MDX-40D was designed by Product Development Inc as a low cost Dental CAM system for dental labs and technicians. Currently the Roland MDX-40D is an exclusive product of Product Development Inc.The MDX-40D is built on the award winning 2nd generation Roland MDX-40A. With all the features of the other Roland DWX systems like tool sensor with automated calibration the MDX-40D is a Dental labs dream. The MDX-40D works with all Dental 3D Scanners and Dental CAD/CAM software. The system is completely open so you can purchase the materials of your choice, from what ever source you choose.
The MDX-40D features an integrated clamping system which makes it easy to create copings, crowns and bridges. The integrated clamping system holds all standard 98mm discs. With the dual disc system you are able to set the mahcine up and let it run overnight. When you come back in the morning you could have as many as 40 cases cut out and ready to finish.
The MDX-40D is extremely affordable, making it easy for the dental professional to invest in precision milling technology. There are many milling machine systems available in the marketplace, and some cost more than 10 times the price of the Roland MDX-40D, with less features.
