PDI Basic Engraving Kit
We created a kit that will turn your Roland milling machine into a complete engraving system. We include an engraving mat, software, tools and starter materials, everything you need to get started.

How It Works
  1. Set the engraving mat down on the table of your Roland milling machine. (The engraving mat is better then 2 sided tape because the sheets are reusable and when you remove the engraved item it does not leave any residue behind.
  2. Place the material or item you want to engrave onto the engraving mat. You just set it down and press it into the mat and it holds it in place.
  3. Load the engraving tool into the machine and set the z origin on top of the item or material.
  4. Using the Engrave Software import your design (you can import all vector and bitmap file types) or you can create a new design from scratch. Once your design is created you choose your material type and engraving parameters.
  5. Set the location on your part where you want the machine to engrave.
  6. Choose Engrave in the software and the machine will engrave your item.
